Hi, it's Aurelius.

A reminder that you are receiving this email as you opted into my YouTube course updates and waitlist.

In this email, I want to answer some questions that have been asked about the upcoming course in my YouTube community.

Starting with:

Q1. Who is this YouTube course for?

This course is best suited if you're looking to start an educational-based YouTube channel to teach what you know best. It doesn't matter what niche, as long as you have something valuable to share. If you're currently an instructor, coach or educator, you're going to learn how to deliver your expertise that's going to get high engagement on YouTube specifically. The audience on YouTube is notorious for getting the content they came for so you need to deliver it in a format that best suits YouTube. It's not the same as teaching students on Zoom calls or doing keynotes.

And don't worry, you will learn how to best structure your content and what to say (following my script template) so you can focus on delivering your content and building an audience.

Q2. Who is this YouTube course NOT for?

On the contrary, this course isn't for everyone. If you're looking to make a quick buck from posting a couple of videos, definitely not. It took me almost 3 years of posting 1-2 videos per week to get to 100,000 subscribers. For some channels that I've seen, it has taken even longer. So be prepared that there will be work...a lot of it. I aim to cut a lot of the learning curve in the course but you have to apply.

Q3. "Can I make videos without showing my face?"

As much as I'm all about being on camera, you do not need to. BUT...and a big but is that if you're trying to build your brand (personal or business), it's always best to be on camera as it builds trust. However, this doesn't mean you can't have a successful channel if you don't show your face. I have seen multiple channels that simply share screen tutorials that have over 100,000 subscribers. I will share a lesson on this in the course so you can decide.

Q4. "I don't have a big budget to spend on recording equipment and software."

Not to worry. I will be sharing how to make talking head videos as well as screen tutorials with existing recording equipment and software you may already have. For those who want to level up their video quality, I've got you covered too.

I started out with an old point-and-shoot camera I had lying around from travelling and didn't upgrade until I hit about 5000 subscribers. These days, your smartphone is all you need. However, if there's one thing I suggest you do get is a lavalier mic which you can get for as little as $14 on Amazon. It's going to make a huge difference.

I'll discuss more on gear and software in the course quite extensively.

Q5. "Will you be covering fear of being on camera?"
